Really great place for park activities and water activities, large amounts of space with 2 different sections. 1) lake area with benches and fishing area 2) Area up on hill with grills and benches, great for camping. Bathrooms available as well.
Beautiful place to take family and friends from out of town. We were here for the 1000 Lantern Festival
Plenty of shaded picnic areas on the south side but the north side is not shaded. Bring a hat and be mindful of the weather.
Nice clean park, very confusing about where you can fish and you can't.
New signs do help,however law enforcement is very spotty regarding swimming. I have had to move on numerous occasions due to kids swimming over my fishing lines.
My family is always enjoyed coming to this lake. It is always maintained very well and it has such beautiful shady areas and the water is Crystal Blue. We all love lake Ming.
Watching bout racing is a great American past time! Kids have fun at the park. Vendors have food and drinks. T-shirts and hats. Only on scheduled events! The lake is a quiet retreat from the bustle of Bakersfield life!
Great Lake to visit to look at. Do not swim in this lake. Many warning are hung but people seem to not be able to read. This is mainly a speed boat lake.
New walkway, grea job. Lake area is clean , including restrooms. Nice place for family. Plenty of trash cans. Some ppl have caught 5 lbs bass.
I went back today 12/28 and the asphalt work by the bathroom is submerged under water, dening access without getting totally soaked above your ankles
Great fishing if you know the right spots
